Company Description

Manitoulin Transport has the most extensive transportation network in North America, making it easy to provide dependable, on-time delivery and faster transit times. This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries within High Level and the surrounding area promptly by carrying, using a wheeler, a pallet jack, and a tailgate as required. They must be able to plan, load, and unload freight to a variety of customers. A normal work week is Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift. We'll need some flexibility in availability to meet customers' needs.

Start time is 7:00 am on the dock, using a handheld device to receive freight and record any shortages or damages, then load freight onto delivery trucks. Complete deliveries and pick-ups,



and return to finish your day on the dock loading outbound freight.

Qualifications

- Class 5 license
- 1 year of City Pick-up and Delivery experience
- Electronic Logging Device and handheld device experience are assets
- Reliable and dependable
- PHYSICALLY FIT
- TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
