Position #: 9012928 Expected Start Date: September 21, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Nipawin Hospital City/Town: Nipawin Department: Emergency Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physician Assistant Degree $51.102 to $62.5 Travel Required: No : Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the (CPSS).
Human Resources Exemption: No Experience ~ Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an asset Education ~ Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC Licenses Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan). Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.
