Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, B.C. is seeking a motivated and skilled permanent, full‑time Clinical Practice Educator to join the team. The successful candidate must hold a recognized Hemodialysis certification and bring recent, relevant experience in hemodialysis nursing practice.

Shift Times

Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 15:00. Employer paid training/education Employer paid vacation Extended Health & Dental coverage The Clinical Practice Educator incorporates the core concepts of person and family-centered care (respect, dignity, information sharing, participation, and collaboration) and provides visible, accessible clinical support by acting as an education resource for staff in the clinical area(s). Using nursing & specialized theory and knowledge, develops, implements,



and evaluates a range of formal/informal educational programs and learning plans for direct care nursing staff, including individual and group learning assessments and opportunities.

Consults, confers, and collaborates with others in the promotion of a quality practice & learning environment, continuous quality improvement, resolution of clinical education issues, and coordination of activities required for progressive educational and clinical practice programs. Integrates the nursing designation (RN, RPN, LPN) and area specific competencies into qualified practice and education.
