We're looking for a Disability Case Manager who will be responsible for managing a case load of disability claims for a large unionized organization. You will also be working with employers, union representatives, and physicians to obtain and review medical.

The Case

Manager develops relationships with involved parties and provides expert advice to customers daily. This position is based out of your home office and includes travel within the Truro to Antigonish region to provide face to face case management with clients.



Case manage disability claims Plan and implement sound case management strategies with a focus on treatment and recovery and a goal to potential return to work Responsible for communication claim decisions both verbally and in written correspondence to all stakeholders involved Degree in a health-related field as a Kinesiologist, Occupational Therapist, Massage Therapist or related considered an asset Experience working with a carrier or other third-party provider actively adjudicating disability claims Experience with non-occupational disability claims Experience adjudicating mental health and physical disability claims NIDMAR or other related professional designations would be an asset Home office space is required Enjoy a competitive compensation package with an excellent benefits program for permanent full-time employees.
