Make an impact with our Tax team as a Co-op CPA Articling Student for a 4 month term beginning September 2027. This diverse team of professionals delivers customized tax strategies within a complex and agile regulatory framework. As a trusted advisor, you’ll design solutions for clients that meet compliance and reporting requirements, minimize risk, drive efficiencies and maximize returns.

Develop technical skills in areas such as: compilations, reviews, bookkeeping and tax Develop and apply knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE), the Canadian Income Tax Act and related legislation Set-up files for new clients and newly incorporated businesses,



manage multiple files simultaneously and conduct inventory counts Research various tax related issues and conclude on their potential implications Collect and analyze relevant financial and tax data Establish charts of accounts and prepare entries for posting to accounts Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns for various types of entities Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts and highlights Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred) Working towards prerequisites for admission into the CPA Professional Program upon graduation Previous tax or accounting related office experience is considered an asset Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset vacation time flexible benefits a flexible ‘Dress For Your Day’ environment firm sponsored social events Diversity@MNP We embrace diversity as a core value and celebrate our differences.
