Manager , the Collision Centre Manager will take ownership of the daily performance of the collision centre and play a key role in developing a high-performing, customer-focused operation.

As Collision Centre

Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and performance of the body shop. You will lead employees, manage workflow, maintain strong relationships with customers and insurance partners, and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Directing the daily operation of the collision centre, including workflow, scheduling, staffing, production, and repair completion.

Leading, coaching, and supporting collision centre employees to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service objectives. Maintaining effective relationships with insurance adjusters, customers, vendors, and dealership departments.



Monitoring repair quality and ensuring vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and applicable safety requirements.

Managing repair timelines and identifying workflow issues before they affect customer delivery dates. Overseeing customer communication throughout the repair process and resolving concerns promptly and professionally. Preparing, monitoring, and managing the collision centre's operating budget and financial performance.

Reviewing key performance indicators and identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Supporting business development and implementing initiatives designed to increase collision centre sales and market share. Ensuring compliance with workplace safety requirements, dealership policies, warranty procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring appropriate handling of customer, vehicle, insurance, and business information. Using MPI estimating and reporting processes, including direct estimating, to support accurate repair planning and documentation. Assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair or replacement procedures for structural, mechanical,



and cosmetic components.

Supporting estimates for retail paint work, vehicle customization, and specialty repairs when required. Candidates must have prior experience working as a Collision Estimator, Production Manager, or in a comparable collision repair position. Previous leadership or management experience in a collision/body shop environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage repair workflow, production schedules, and competing priorities. Strong understanding of repair quality, vehicle safety, parts, labour, refinishing, and damage assessment.

Experience working with insurance representatives and managing customer expectations. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple repair files simultaneously. Strong financial and business acumen, including the ability to monitor budgets, productivity, and profitability.

Sound judgment and a highly detail‑oriented approach to estimating and repair management. Proven ability to identify operational issues, develop solutions, and implement process improvements. Familiarity with collision repair management and estimating software.
