- Serve as the ‘voice’ of CCS and communicate the organization’s work in ways that resonate with Canadians
- Use financial industry knowledge to create written collateral
- Write blog articles, media pitches, press releases, brochures, presentations, video scripts, and social media posts
- Increase awareness, consumer interaction, and knowledge
- Support the overall marketing and awareness strategy
- Work collaboratively with members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team

Requirements

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is required, ideally in a related field such as business or communications
- Three to five years of experience in either the personal finance or credit industry
- Two to three years of experience in communications, writing, or journalism
- Previous experience working in a media relations capacity is an asset
- Excellent oral and exceptional written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Well-organized and self-motivated
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- High proficiency in computer office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Valuable understanding of and interest in multiple social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok




- Successful candidates must be eligible to work in Canada
- Fluency in French is an asset
