The Civic Operations

Department provides vital services throughout the year to make Kamloops a safe and enjoyable City to live in, work and visit. As a Communications Liaison – Co-Op Student, you’ll work alongside professionals delivering projects that help shape and improve our community. You’ll support communications across a variety of projects and audiences – helping translate technical and project information into communications that are transparent, accessible, timely and engaging.

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in either communications, marketing, or business with a major in marketing. Excellent in-person and written communication skills.

Valid

Class 5 BC Drivers Licence, or equivalent. This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 900; This position will receive 4% in lieu of all benefits, vacation, stat holidays, and health time as per attached CO-OP Student Letter of Understanding.
