Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Lead Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Port Coquitlam, BC facility and offers benefits from day one. Eaton's eMobility segment is currently seeking a energetic, eager to learn Senior Radio Frequency Engineer to join the Mobile Wireless team and contribute to our fast-growing global business.

Wireless is part of eMobility, a new strategically important segment of Eaton. This position will play a critical role in developing the future direction of Eaton’s wireless technologies globally.
The Senior Radio Frequency
Engineer will be responsible for developing a range of new Wireless products. This new suite of products will extend Eaton’s already successful wireless solutions and bring an unmatched level of industrial enterprise connectivity. You will produce market competitive, manufacturable product designs on time and on budget by demonstrating a balance between innovation and risk You will be a key member of the project team and participate in design reviews You will learn the current radio portfolio and provide support to the existing product lines You will perform other related tasks and projects as required Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in RF (Radio-frequency) engineering or electronics engineering with RF focus or equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of of relevant work experience EM theory and S-parameters theory, and S parameters measurement for one-port, two-port circuits using VSA, amplifier design based on S-parameters Skilled in the use of software for RF simulation and PCB design software Good understanding of digital modulation, FSK, GFSK, OFDM, DSSS,
FHSS Familiar with regulatory / approval requirements for wireless devices (FCC and CE) No relocation provided Travel: ~10% including internationally Phase noise measurement and analysis.
Digital signal processing including digital filters, frequency demodulation, and bit/word synchronization. Embedded C software development for microcontrollers.
Experience with RF and electronic circuit simulation tools. Understanding of RF performance variation with temperature. PLL control loop design and stability analysis. All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
