Role: Clerical Associate – Bariatric Clinic, Surgical Program Temporary Part Time

- Hours of Work: Variable hours of days and evenings shifts (7:30 am‑3:30 pm and/or 11 am‑7 pm) – subject to change as per Article 3 – Management Rights
- Location: Humber River Health, Willson Site

- Hourly Rate: $29.966 - $31.016. Responsible for clerical support including patient registration and discharge, maintenance of patient records, order entry, statistics, and assisting with patient billing. Responsible for customer service including scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, telephone inquiries, greeting patients and visitors in a courteous manner. Communicates with other departments and service areas as required. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Completed secretarial and medical terminology courses preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Minimum of one‑year full‑time recent clerical experience required, preferably in an out‑patient health care setting. Computer skills required




- Meditech computer experience is preferred. Community‑wide scheduling experience is preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in a team environment.
