We are looking for awesome, self-driven Personal Support Workers to work with adult/elderly clients in the Brampton/Mississauga area. Flexibility preferred for shorter (1-2-hour shifts). Longer shifts may also be available but caregivers who are flexible to accommodate shifts varying in duration will be prioritized. ~ Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans.

Provide companionship and light housekeeping (whatever it takes to help a person stay at home). Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs that is within the scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker Assists clients in all activities of daily living/ hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth. Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.

A valid driver's license and reliable access to a car that can be used for daily work is an asset. Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas of work,



an asset if you can travel to rural/remote areas. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English PSW certification from an approved and recognized educational institution or International nursing/ doctorate Certification Valid Criminal Record Check - must be completed within the last year Negative TB Test completed within the last year Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to Ontario’s Human Rights Code Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, and Diphtheria REQUIRED, immunization of Hepatitis B is strongly encouraged.

Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed. Current/Valid Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) Registration an asset *The Care Company can make accommodations/modifications for individuals with disabilities during the hiring and onboarding process.
