This contracted 0.5 FTE position combines panel-based and episodic care. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients while offering guidance to healthcare professionals in a cooperative setting.
Your work will align with WFN's vision, ensuring care reflects community values. With an emphasis on patient-centered care, you'll manage health outcomes through effective communication and diagnostic strategies, promoting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients for undiagnosed conditions
- Provide first-line emergency care and treatments
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans
- Lead nursing education and mentoring sessions
- Encourage preventative health through community initiatives
Requirements:
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of BC
- Passed Objective Structured Clinical Examination
- 3-5 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Clean BC Driver's license required
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check
