Role: Confined Space Rescue Technician

Responsibilities:

- Perform confined space rescue stand-by during operations in permit-required and hazardous confined spaces.
- Facilitate rescues in the event of an incident involving personnel working in confined spaces or hazardous environments.
- Develop and implement site-specific confined space rescue plans.
- Conduct risk assessments, prepare and stage rescue equipment, and plan practical and effective solutions to ensure safe work practices.
- Inspect, maintain, and document all rescue equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Provide on-site safety watch, confined space entry watch, atmospheric monitoring, spark/fire watch, and gas detection as required.
- Support safe work practices by ensuring all site personnel comply with Kinetic Safety’s HSE program,



client policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Serve as an advocate for health and safety rules, policies, and procedures, promoting a culture of safety in all work environments.

Qualifications:

- Must hold a valid Confined Space Rescue certificate
- Minimum required safety tickets include: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) and Fire Watch
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in confined space rescue operations in the oil and gas industry is essential.
- Valid Canadian Driver’s License is preferred
- Excellent physical condition, capable of performing rescues and physically demanding tasks in restricted or hazardous environments.
- Solid communication skills and ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
