Legal Counsel
Legal services Laval QC Legal Counsel serves as a trusted legal advisor to the Sales organization and executive leadership team, providing practical, business-focused legal guidance that enables growth while managing risk.
This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements, with large portion being construction and service contracts. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Projects, and Executive Leadership teams to support strategic business initiatives, accelerate contract execution, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Commercial Contracting
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to: Support dispute resolution efforts and contract interpretation issues when they arise. Bachelor of Law degree and active member of Québec Bar.
Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar position or in private practice with similar mandates. Solid knowledge of contract law and commercial transactions. Exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to balance business objectives with legal and regulatory requirements.
