Meridian is currently seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Apprentice Carpenter to join our team for an exciting project in Delta, BC. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work alongside experienced carpenters and site supervisors to support the successful construction of a multi-unit wood-frame hotel project. You will gain valuable hands‑on experience while assisting with a variety of carpentry and construction tasks.

Assisting with wood-frame construction including walls, floors, roofs, backing, and structural components Assisting with layout, framing, and installation of walls, ceilings, blocking, bulkheads,



and backing Assisting with wood framing quality control to ensure work is completed accurately and to project requirements Installation of doors, windows, hardware, millwork, and finishing carpentry components Assisting with installation of handrails, guardrails, and other architectural details Material handling, site preparation, and maintaining organized work areas Safely operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment You are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and motivated to develop your skills in the construction industry. Previous carpentry or construction experience is considered an asset Enrolled in or interested in pursuing a Carpentry Apprenticeship Experience on multi-family residential, hotel, and/or commercial construction projects is considered an asset Basic understanding of wood-frame construction practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is considered an asset Willingness to work overtime when required Steel-toed boots, tool belt, and basic carpenter hand and power tools Additional safety certifications and equipment operator tickets are considered an asset #
