Role Description The Construction Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on wastewater and sewage treatment facility projects. This role includes coordinating crews and subcontractors, monitoring progress against schedules, and ensuring that work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The supervisor conducts regular site inspections, enforces health and safety protocols, and addresses issues promptly to minimize delays and risks.

Daily responsibilities also involve communicating with project managers, engineers,



and clients, maintaining accurate site documentation, and supporting effective resource allocation and material management. The role requires hands-on leadership on site and consistent presence to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

- Strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision experience to lead crews and manage daily construction activities.
- Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with project stakeholders, report progress, and resolve on-site issues.
- Proficiency in Inspection and quality control processes to verify compliance with plans, codes, and standards.
- Solid understanding of Construction Safety practices to enforce regulations and maintain a safe work setting.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proven organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and timely decision-making.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in construction, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with construction management software and basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license and capacity to work full-time on site in varying weather and field conditions.
