Canada is seeking a Consultant, Commercial Analytics & Controls to build and operate the commercial organization’s control environment. Acting as a centralized commercial control function, the Consultant helps ensure pricing, contract, margin, and profitability risks are identified and addressed proactively while supporting accuracy, visibility, operational excellence, and profitable growth. This position is a two-day hybrid role, reporting to our Vaughan Head Office.
The role leads commercial analytics and improvement initiatives across Sales, Pricing and Contracts. The role develops reliable, accessible reporting, dashboards, monitoring tools, and governance processes aligned with business needs. It also transforms complex data into actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations while strengthening controls that protect revenue, margin, contract performance, and customer experience.
Lead commercial analytics across Sales, Pricing, Contracts, and Sales Operations to strengthen visibility, decision‑making, and business performance Develop dashboards, forecasts, self‑service reporting, and exception monitoring to support timely, data‑driven decisions Establish controls, business rules, and governance processes that improve pricing and contract accuracy, data integrity, accountability, and compliance Apply predictive analytics and proactive monitoring to identify emerging business trends, pricing discrepancies, margin erosion, revenue leakage, commercial risks, and revenue recovery opportunities Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to monitor contract activation, compliance, performance, profitability, and operational execution; identify gaps between negotiated agreements and sales realization; Lead strategic commercial improvement initiatives by advancing policies, procedures, automation,
and innovative technical solutions that increase operational efficiency and profitable growth, while providing guidance or mentorship to less experienced colleagues when appropriate Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, finance, commerce, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of post‑secondary education and experience, preferred 4 to 8 years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, pricing, contract management, profitability analysis, business intelligence, or a related function, preferred Proficiency in SQL, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI Understanding of pricing, contract management, profitability analysis, commercial operations, and risk management Comprehensive knowledge of relevant concepts, principles, and technical capabilities, with the ability to work independently on varied tasks and complex, large‑scope projects under general guidance Solution‑oriented and cooperative approach, with the ability to develop innovative technical solutions to difficult problems that align with organizational objectives Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, data modeling, exception monitoring, commercial controls, and governance is considered an asset Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise business systems is considered an asset Experience in healthcare, medical distribution, healthcare services, or another regulated industry is considered an asset Flexible health and dental benefit plans with immediate coverage Disability and life insurance coverage Defined Contribution Pension Plan with company matching In addition to vacation, paid time off for family/health/personal needs Maternity,
