IT Technical Consultant Full Time / Permanent Location: Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and Dartmouth Office Are you a technical, customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, working directly with clients, and spending time outside of a traditional desk setting? Do you have experience supporting hardware and software infrastructure in both on-premise and Microsoft Azure environments? We’re currently looking for an IT Technical Consultant to join our talented Managed IT Services team.

This role will primarily be spent at client locations across HRM and surrounding areas, with the balance of time being spent in our Dartmouth office. Providing day-to-day IT system, network, and infrastructure support for a diverse client base throughout the Maritimes.

Supporting hardware and software infrastructure across both on-premise and Microsoft Azure environments, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.



Working directly with clients to gather and document requirements related to their internal systems, networks, and applications. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while providing excellent customer service. 3–5 years of experience in a technical support, infrastructure, or consulting role. ~ Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent technical experience. ~ Experience supporting IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and end-user environments. ~ Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Desktop OS, and Azure environments. ~ Knowledge of SMB IT network infrastructure, domain administration, security requirements, and end-user equipment. ~ Experience using remote monitoring and alerting systems. ~ Comfortable and eager to be primarily client-facing and on-site across HRM and surrounding areas, with office time at our Dartmouth location as business needs require. #
