Duration: 12+ month contract (with potential extension) Required to work in work in-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and working remote on Wednesday and Friday. The designer will be working on designing solutions for the Investments Mega Journey which include services and platforms that caters to both clients and internal advisors and is presented in a web responsive format. Creates content artifacts for digital media to exchange information, elicit emotion and facilitate interaction o In the form of UI content, accessibility content, labels, explanatory text, hidden or alternative text, metadata, support and go-to-market content to explore, communicate intent, and validate ideas for complex systems and inter-related client experiences • Understand the problem/opportunity and use ‘design thinking’ methods to formulate solutions • Collaborate with the design team and cross-functional partners to align on solutions and its delivery • Partners with peers to shape and develop non-textual content (i.e. iconography, information graphics, imagery and data) • Performs Content Design audits where appropriate • Collaborates with Legal, Compliance,



and Regulatory teams to ensure all content satisfies governance requirements while still meeting clients’ needs • Apply content guidelines and standards to ensure solutions adhere to tone and voice Organized and excellent content management practices • Comfortable to work on multiple projects and at times require quick turn-arounds • Strong project and time management skills • Solid understanding of team, domain, platforms, users, and ways of working • Applies critical thinking to project initiatives, gaining explicit understanding and discern high-value activities that will help meet objectives • Crafting research plans and performing agile tests to inform and validate solutions • Produces solutions and assets based on timelines and scope • Firm understanding of content standards and processes • Strong working knowledge of Content Design methodologies • Strong technical understanding and expertise in Content Design practice theory / tools • User centered design foundation (Prioritizing user needs, pain points, behaviors) • Product design experience with understanding of product development practices • Has worked with large design teams and multiple stakeholders (Product/Business/Technical partners) • Research and user testing Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Design Get notified about new Content Designer jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada .
