Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Controls Engineer for a temporary assignment in Cambridge, Ontario. This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $40.00 - $49.00/Hr.

Lead a project team consisting of controls engineers, technicians, contractors, and equipment vendors to implement stamping equipment projects from budget development through production handover to meet the project KPI targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost. Research, develop, and implement new safety, quality assurance, and production technologies.
Through training and On the Job Development, become a Stamping Equipment technical expert. Bachelor's degree in engineering (or higher), MBA is an asset Manufacturing or Stamping Industry experience – 5 years required Project management experience – 5 years required Strong ability to analyze electrical and mechanical drawings, and PLC. Strong documentation and reporting skills for explicit communication to stakeholders utilizing Microsoft365 applications such as Excel, PowerBI, Project, and PowerPoint.

Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, Catia, and MotoSim.
