and service delivery meet established department standards; Introduces self to recent resident in the dining rooms as part of resident orientation / welcome Responds to resident food service needs and expectations in accordance to service expectations Executes the preparation processes for meal service Leverages menus, menu costs, recipe binders, and production sheets to guide food preparation Adheres to both provincial and Shannex food safety standards and holds team to the same standards Culinary Arts Diploma and a valid Red Seal Journey man Cook Certificate Current Advanced Food Handler’s Certificate Minimum of 3-5 years of operational experience in a high-volume kitchen Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Experience in preparing large quantities of food Successful candidates will be required to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check, prior to appointment.
