The Full time Cook is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality meals for Tsawwassen First Nation’s food service operations, including daily meal programs, community events, catering, and special functions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Food Services team to provide nutritious, appealing meals while maintaining efficient kitchen operations, inventory control, and food safety standards. Develop rotating menus that are nutritious, cost-effective, and meet the needs of community programs and events Place food and supply orders, maintain inventory, and perform basic food costing and portion control Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with FoodSafe and health regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment Work closely with the Supervisor of Events &
• Food Services and other Food Services staff to coordinate meal production and event catering Assist with cleaning and sanitation kitchen organization, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement of food service operations Support special events and community functions as required Minimum four (4) years of commercial cooking experience in a restaurant, institutional, or high-volume food service environment Experience planning and preparing complete breakfast, lunch, dinner,
and catered meal services Experience with menu planning, food ordering, inventory management, and basic food costing Professional Cook Level 1 certification is considered an asset and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required Valid Class 5 drivers license Food Preparation &
