MacLeod Cares Mahone Bay Nursing Home is a 96-bed long-term care home located in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. We are proud to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a close-knit community environment where Residents feel at home.

As a Cook, you will play an essential role in the health, comfort, and quality of life of our Residents. You will prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet individual dietary requirements and work collaboratively with the dietary team and nursing staff to ensure meals are prepared safely and served on time. This position, specifically, will be focused on baking.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Services, or equivalent experience




- Minimum one year of cooking experience (healthcare or institutional setting considered an asset)
- Knowledge of special diets
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check
