About the Role As our Head Accountant (Maternity Backfill) , you’ll be the technical anchor of the team, ensuring accurate, compliant, and audit-ready accounting for both US and Canadian entities. You’ll have autonomy, ownership, and impact — perfect for someone who thrives on precision and efficiency. What You’ll Do ~ Manage full-cycle accounting : journal entries, month-end close, financial statements, budgets, analysis ~ Oversee daily operations : AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations ~ Support financial reporting & budgeting for business decisions ~ Coordinate year-end audits and tax filings (US & Canada) ~ Drive continuous improvement , automation, and best practices ~ CPA (or CA, CMA, CGA) with 10+ years’ experience in digital or high-growth companies ~ Detail-oriented, autonomous,
