Counsellor – Individual, Couples & Family Focus

Crowning Life Counselling is seeking a warm, cooperative counsellor to support adults, couples, and families in navigating relational challenges, conflict, and emotional overwhelm. This is an ideal role for a clinician who values client-centred care, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in high-conflict or court-involved family systems. You’ll have the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your strengths and a supportive team around you every step of the way.

What You’ll Need

- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- RCC, RSW, or equivalent designation (or eligible for registration)
- Experience supporting individuals, couples, and families
- Comfort working in high-conflict, court-involved family systems

Preferred Clinical Skills

- Skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment-based, or family systems approaches
- Strong relationship-focused care: able to support couples and families in restoring connection and improving communication
- Commitment to helping clients build tools for conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and long-term change
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Competitive compensation: $90–$100/hour

Compensation

Counsellors at Crowning Life Counselling are paid $90–$100 per session, depending on qualifications and caseload. Compensation is transparent and consistent, with no unexpected deductions. You’ll be paid regularly with a steady stream of referrals so you can focus on doing what you do best—supporting your clients.
