Our partner is seeking an experienced Student Recruitment Counsellor with demonstrated expertise in international education counselling and the capacity to deliver IELTS training to prospective students.

This is a specialist role for an individual who understands that effective student counselling extends well beyond submitting applications. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a substantive understanding of international education systems, destination-country admissions frameworks, student visa processes, institutional requirements and the academic pathways available to prospective students.

The role also carries responsibility for IELTS preparation and therefore requires solid command of the IELTS curriculum and assessment framework, with the ability to translate that knowledge into structured, effective instruction.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Provide informed, profile-led counselling on international study destinations, institutions, programmes and academic pathways.




- Demonstrate working knowledge of admissions requirements and application processes across major study destinations.
- Advise students on the broader progression from programme selection and admission through to the relevant student visa process.
- Evaluate academic profiles and provide appropriate guidance on institutional and programme suitability.
- Manage prospective students through the application lifecycle with accuracy, discretion and professional judgement.
- Deliver structured IELTS preparation across Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, with a clear understanding of the examination format, assessment criteria and band descriptors.
- Diagnose candidate performance, develop appropriate preparation strategies and provide technically sound feedback.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments affecting international admissions, English-language requirements and student mobility.

Candidates with relevant IELTS training credentials, international education counselling experience and a demonstrable record in student recruitment will be strongly considered.
