Join SD42 as a Counselor in the Protected and Caring Schools program, effective September 1, 2026. This 0.8 FTE position focuses on promoting student development through individualized and group support. As a critical member of SD42's counseling team, you'll facilitate personal growth in students through trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate strategies.
Your role includes collaboration with school personnel, families, and community services to ensure well-rounded support for students across various schools. Help students enhance emotional regulation skills
- Address the needs of multiple school communities
- Master’s degree in counseling psychology or equivalent
- Successful counselling experience in elementary education
- Utilize your skills in counseling and collaboration to support students' emotional and social growth at SD42.
