Research, write and teach and/or source training courses related to identifiable needs. Operate scheduled classes within the Training Centre and at customer sites.

Maintain training database, including evaluation, certification and tracking of ATS customer trainees. Assist in the development of technical curriculum, such as student course books,



in the area of Automation Systems, Safety, I.S.and as‑needed training for ATS customers. Maintain, execute and develop existing training procedures and apply those procedures to support production schedules while meeting training schedules.

Assist in the integration of support manuals with that of training material and verify the delivery of the information to ATS customers. Maintain electronic reporting of the operation of the training system. Develop and conduct programs to train ATS customers in equipment installation, programming, safety, maintenance and repair of custom machinery and equipment such as robots and programmable controllers, following manuals, specifications, blueprints and schematics using hand tools, measuring instruments and test equipment.

Confer with management, other ATS resources and customers to determine training objectives. Write training program, including training outline, manuals, handouts and presentation materials. Schedule classes based on equipment and customer availability.

Observe trainees in both classroom and during hands‑on activities to ensure good knowledge transfer and safety and answers trainees’ questions. Assist in the operation of a technical training centre at ATS and other locations as needed. Upgrade personal knowledge of automation components and devices as needed.

Prepare training quotations for customers.
