ShipTop is looking for a Licensed Customs Broker to manage customs compliance for goods imported into Canada on behalf of our clients. This role is responsible for accurate tariff classification, valuation, and duty/tax calculation, as well as ensuring all import documentation meets CBSA requirements. This is a critical compliance role — accuracy and up-to-date regulatory knowledge matter, as errors can result in delayed shipments,



penalties, or audits.

Review tariff classification (HS codes), valuation, and applicable duties/taxes Review and verify import documentation for accuracy and completeness Monitor regulatory changes affecting tariffs, trade agreements, and import compliance Coordinate with freight forwarders and drayage partners to ensure timely release and delivery of cargo Prior experience working as a licensed customs broker or in a customs brokerage environment Experience with tariff classification, valuation methods, and duty/tax calculation Experience in eCommerce, 3PL, or freight forwarding is an asset Bachelor’s degree or diploma in International Trade, Business, or a related field preferred #
