The PrimeData Centers (PDC)ControlsEngineerreports to theDirectorofMEPEngineering andis responsible forcontrolsengineering effortsrelated to a portfolio of datacenter projects which can include current construction, phased expansion, retrofits and upgrades, acquisition conversions,BAS/BMS/EPMS/DCIMequipmentstandards, development of design standards,processes,and procedures. This role willsupportlong-term business strategies aligned with key Prime stakeholders to manage the relationship and output of key design partners and equipment suppliers for their assigned projects. Supports innovation & development in concert with the VP of Engineering and other PDC stakeholders including investigation of new products and services, and how they will be assimilated into PDC standards.

Collaborates closely cross-functionally – Construction, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Product, Marketing, Corporate Development, etc – tosupportcontrolsengineeringdesign requirements.

Design and construction support: Performscontrolsengineeringtasks to supportmaster planning/concept designs as part of PDC’s investment planning, review, and approval process. Responsible forreviewingcontrolsdeliverables suchasspecifications, schematics,Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;),sequence of operations (SOO), pointslist, network designs, and submittals/shop drawings. Supports the management ofregional design team partners to adopt and accommodate standards and best practices for design.

Researchnew designs, materials, and construction methods for datacentermechanical, plumbing, and fire protectionequipment and related components. Includes BAS/BMS (HVAC controls), EPMS (Electrical controls), and DCIM (Customer portal)

Commissioning (Cx) support of Level 4 and Level 5Cxefforts.
