Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Professional Liability (E&O;) business, including Architects &
• Engineers E&O;, Contractors Professional Liability, and Miscellaneous E&O.; Review and evaluate risks,
determine appropriate coverage terms, and negotiate pricing and policy conditions within underwriting authority. Apply underwriting guidelines, product knowledge, and analytical skills to assess risk quality and profitability. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product leaders, claims, and underwriting colleagues, to deliver effective solutions for brokers and clients. Participate in industry events, training programs, and ongoing professional development activities. Assist with reporting, presentations, special projects, and other related duties as assigned. 2 to 5 years of relevant underwriting experience within commercial insurance, preferably Financial &
• Professional Services lines. ~ Ability to analyze financial statements and assess risk exposures. ~ Progress toward professional insurance designations (CIP, FCIP, CRM, etc.) is considered an asset. ~ Target Hiring Range: CAD $79,000 – 101,000 Final offers will be determined based on each candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, and the needs of the role. The posted range does not include variable compensation (bonus), allowances, or benefits.
