This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and We are looking to hire Human Factors Engineering, Flight Deck Design Engineer in Toronto, ON, Canada (On-site) & Montreal, QC (On-site), immediately who has strong experience in design, evaluate and certify Flight deck interfaces. In your role, you will conceptualize, design, evaluate and certify Flight deck interfaces through requirements capture, prototyping, simulation, analysis and usability tests. Deploy cognitive ergonomics expertise to support design, tests and analysis of Human-Machine Interfaces. Support requirements development, task analysis, and human error analysis. Create and manage documentation for Human Factors activities related to new aircraft, significant cockpit modifications and sustaining programs. Elaborate and conduct User Centered Design activities related to Flight deck HMI. Perform scenario-based Flight deck and User experience (UX) evaluation in line with BA Flight deck philosophy.



You possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and a Degree in Cognitive Ergonomics, Psychology, Industrial Design or equivalent. You have a relevant experience (10 years) and knowledge in the Aerospace industry, including especially aircraft systems, flight operations, regulatory environment, and design standards (e.g. You are resourceful in computer-based tools, autonomous in learning and adapting easily to new software. You are an organized and self-motivated team player, capable to work with or without supervision, with good technical writing and oral presentation skills (English required, French an asset). You are resourceful, capable to absorb a large quantity of information, able to plan and execute experiments, evaluations and tests for validation and verification. You show initiative, efficiency, have a solid sense of responsibility and integrity, good interpersonal communication skills and technical judgment. #
