Posted Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 4:00 AM Job Title: Electrical Design Team Lead Cambridge, ON | On-site Job Type: Full-time Benefits: RRSP, health/dental/vision package, reimbursement for tuition and skilled dues, paid vacation, personal days, and sick days Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineering Electrical Design Team Lead will provide leadership and coordination of Electrical Hardware Design functions and costing. The incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of Electrical Engineering policies and procedures, liaise directly with other department personnel to ensure project goals are met on budget, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture. Recognize problems, initiate action, assist in problem solving, and evaluate results on major hardware design issues prior to releasing drawings to manufacturing Review and approve all project designs and that the designs meet the Eclipse high standards of quality, reliability, and safety Develop and coordinate project designs within the Electrical Engineering team Ensure concepts meet Eclipse Automation quality, safety, and reliability standards Guide, direct, teach, assist, and advise department staff on practical design practices and standards Assist resources in the department in their development through coaching and mentoring Guide, organize, and coordinate assigned staff to prioritize project delivery Lead the hardware design project team to ensure project contract deliverables are met Work to specific project budgets and milestones provided by project management Promote positive relations with partners, customers, vendors,



and distributors Promote environmentally and ergonomically safe conceptual product and/or processes to ensure safety of Eclipse personnel and the customer’s employees Initiate and supervise the planning and development of project electrical and controls designs and order any required department materials Project Execution Act as the point-of-contact for the Project Management department for all for assigned projects Update project completion with respect to weekly confirmation of critical milestones, labour hours, material budget, and percent complete on project Ensure scheduled milestones are met and elevate to Project Management if a milestone is at risk Assist in performance reviews Assume full responsibility for hardware design scope of assigned projects Ensure project tasks are entered correctly and promptly for accurate man hour records for Project Management department Respond to CARs issued to the department, as requested Has successfully completed either a University Degree or College Diploma in Electrical, Systems, or Mechatronics, or Robotics Automation Technology ~ Must have intermediate level experience with EPLAN and AutoCAD and be proficient with MS Office ~ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and integration of equipment would be an asse ~Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage multiple projects 3 weeks of vacation and 3 paid personal days (to start) ~ Fast-paced and continuously fostering growth, we encourage the entrepreneurial spirit that our teams embody, and leverage each of their strengths to do better for our people, our clients, and our communities.
