Services, North Zone is looking for a dietitian to join our team in Slave Lake.

As a dietitian in this role, you'll have the chance to provide both individual and group education in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

While most of the patients you'll work with will be adults, pediatric clients may also be seen in outpatient or acute care settings.The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and building strong, supportive relationships with both colleagues and clients.In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. As a Dietitian I, you may provide nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) in various AHS facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes.

You may be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans.



You may plan and provide public health nutrition services and education programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention for clients/groups in facilities or community settings. Nutrition education is provided to students and other healthcare professionals to support delivery of evidence based nutrition information.
