Shape nutritional standards as a Food Service and Clinical Dietitian in long-term care. Assess and enhance residents' nutritional health by implementing key dietary initiatives. This full-time position involves planning and evaluating care, working closely with cross-functional healthcare teams.
Your role will include monitoring nutritional interventions, conducting assessments, and delivering nutrition education sessions. By developing programs that improve residents' nutrition, you will play a crucial role in their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and implement nutritional care plans
- Monitor trends in residents' nutritional status
- Consult with healthcare staff on dietary needs
- Document interventions within resident care records
- Educate staff on nutrition topics bi-monthly Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition required
- Completion of a Dietetic Internship necessary
- Current registration with the local Dietitian body
- Experience in long-term care is advantageous
- Excellent communication and organizational skills Contribute to improved resident wellness through cutting-edge nutrition programs and effective consultation.
