Are you a self-motivated professional who just “loves” dinosaurs and meeting people.

QYC Fun Factory (part of the Queen of Hearts group of companies) is a dinosaur themed children’s play centre on the East side of Owen Sound . We are expanding into phase two and looking for an experienced person with exceptional customer service and management skills to take a prominent role in the centre.

This is a full-time position. Hours would include some weekend and early evenings as well as some week days.

Key Skills and Requirements:

- Interpersonal Skills: Enthusiastic, welcoming personality with the ability to handle multiple situations at once
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and professionally.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with mobile devices, point-of-sale systems, and property management systems.
- Knowledge: Knowledge or the ability and desire to learn some cool dino facts.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Customer Service Background: you need robust interpersonal communication, a welcoming demeanor, and a customer service-oriented attitude, typically supported by prior guest services or hospitality experience
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for long periods. Willing to do what’s needed with a can-do attitude.
- Daily duties - Greeting, registering guests, hosting parties, engaging with guests throughout their stay, following all requirements as laid out by operations manuals, cleaning and basic cafe duties .




- Honesty and Integrity - Ability to work alone and keep a high standard of maintenance and hygiene throughout QYC Fun Factory
- Team work : Exceptional proven teamwork, adaptability, and a positive, energetic personality help you stand out in this position. These skills are essential for creating memorable guest experiences and ensuring smooth daily operations at QYC Fun Factory.
- Team Management : Effective management of a small team requires a blend of nurturing, delegation and clear communication to maximize productivity and maintain high morale.
- Age and Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Requirements : A First Aid Certificate, Food hygiene certificate and a vulnerable police check is required.
