Overview

We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded Director, E-commerce Business Performance & Commercialization to lead E-commerce business performance and accelerate growth across our banners. This role will be accountable for delivering revenue, conversion, customer, and profitability outcomes, while translating enterprise digital strategy into transparent priorities and actionable plans.

The Director will bring together teams across Performance Marketing, Digital Experience, CRM, Merchandising, Analytics, and our banner organizations to ensure we are aligned on priorities, moving with pace, and delivering measurable business results.

Here’s what you’ll be focusing:

- Own E-commerce Business Performance (Banner-Level): Accountable for delivering key business KPIs, including revenue, conversion, acquisition, retention, and profitability for assigned banner(s); monitors performance and drives corrective actions as needed.
- Translate Strategy into Execution Plans: Converts enterprise digital strategy into clear banner-level roadmaps, campaigns, and initiatives; ensures alignment of priorities across functions to deliver business outcomes.
- Lead Cross-Functional Orchestration & Planning: Coordinates across Performance Marketing, Digital Experience, CRM, Merchandising, and Analytics teams to execute integrated plans; ensures alignment of activities to business priorities and leads annual planning and briefing.
- Partner with Banner & Stakeholder Teams: Acts as the primary interface between E-commerce and banner leadership; builds alignment on priorities and ensures delivery against shared goals.
- Drive Commercial Planning & Execution: Leads promotional planning, campaign prioritization, and trading rhythms in partnership with banner teams; aligns digital activity with marketing and merchandising strategies.
- Manage Performance & Drive Optimization: Tracks KPIs, analyzes performance drivers,



and identifies optimization opportunities; leads test-and-learn initiatives to improve business outcomes.
- Lead the Farm Boy E-commerce Team: Oversees the dedicated Farm Boy E-commerce team, including Instacart Storefront Pro site merchandising and related functions such as CRM.
- Own Brand Marketing for Voila: Executes the Voila brand strategy and oversees key strategic partnerships, including Scotia and Scene+.
- Own E-commerce B2B Strategy & Execution: Leads B2B E-commerce strategy and execution, including customer acquisition and account management.

What you should have:

- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience; MBA preferred.
- Strong experience in E-commerce, digital commerce, or retail business leadership; B2C experience is required and B2B experience is an asset.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- A track record of delivering measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, conversion, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data and insights into business decisions; P&L; accountability is an asset.
- Experience leading complex initiatives and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
