Role Description The Dispatcher at LG Fuels Limited is a full-time, on-site role located in Port Kells, BC. This position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating fuel delivery routes, assigning drivers, and monitoring daily operations to ensure on-time and accurate service. The Dispatcher communicates with drivers and customers throughout the day, updates delivery statuses, and resolves scheduling or routing issues as they arise.

The role includes maintaining records of deliveries, fuel volumes, and driver hours, while ensuring compliance with safety and transportation regulations. This individual works closely with operations and customer service teams to prioritize requests,



optimize routes, and support smooth, efficient refueling services.

Qualifications

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries and manage changing schedules.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Basic computer proficiency, including use of dispatch or routing software, spreadsheets, and email.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, documentation, and data entry.
- Knowledge of local geography in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, with an understanding of traffic patterns and routing considerations.
- Awareness of safety practices and regulations related to fuel handling and transportation (training can be provided).
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment, particularly when responding to urgent or unexpected changes.
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or fleet coordination is an asset.
