This position involves collaboration with classroom teachers to craft and enhance learning experiences for students who are visually impaired. Your expertise and mentoring abilities are crucial to fostering a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with classroom teams for inclusive education
- Provide mentorship and guidance to current teachers
- Deliver braille instruction (literary, Nemeth, UEB)
- Create and distribute alternate format materials
- Administer assessments related to functional vision
Requirements:
- Degree or Master’s in education for visually impaired
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Current B.C.
