Working together with its research institute, the University of Ottawa, and other partners, the hospital is continually gaining national and international recognition for high-quality patient care, teaching and research, while striving to meet the needs of the culturally diverse community we serve. DMI Systems Support Analyst is responsible for providing software and high-level hardware support on Diagnostic Imaging's Information systems and workstations under the guidance of the DMI System Administrator through daily system maintenance activities and support. This is a corporate position with a home base at the General Campus.
Rotation/Shifts Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

- Working knowledge of medical imaging processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIS and other hospital systems that interrelate with Diagnostic Imaging information systems
- Proficiency in Administrative software such as word processing, spreadsheet and presentation
- Excellent Customer Service, Project Management and interpersonal skills
- Above-average ability to anticipate problems and react appropriately
- Bachelor's Degree in Information/Business Systems or Health Care;
Experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging environment or equivalent healthcare related field
- Demonstrated teaching/training experience. Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).

Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills. Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position at the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.
