Job Overview

SRG is seeking an experienced Document Control &

- Turnover Coordinator to support industrial construction projects at a major Northern Alberta oil sands facility. The successful candidate will maintain project documentation, compile turnover packages, track outstanding records, and support mechanical completion and final project turnover.

Responsibilities

- Maintain controlled drawings, specifications, procedures, work packages, transmittals, and document registers.
- Ensure current document revisions are available to the project team.
- Compile, review, and track multi-discipline turnover packages through client acceptance.
- Collect required quality and construction records, including inspection reports, material records, weld/NDE documentation, pressure test packages, electrical testing records, instrument calibration records, redlines, and as-built drawings.
- Identify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up with construction, quality, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Maintain turnover trackers and provide accurate progress updates.
- Support mechanical completion, commissioning, system handover, and final project closeout.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of industrial document control, quality documentation, or turnover experience.
- Previous oilsands, SAGD, refinery, pipeline, mining, or heavy industrial construction experience.
- Experience compiling and reviewing multi-discipline turnover packages.
- Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with electronic document management or completion systems.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, work packages, and quality records.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to meet all site-access and drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
