As a Radiation Therapist – Proton, you will deliver highly accurate radiation treatments—including proton, photon, and electron therapy to support exceptional oncology care. You’ll collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, maintain rigorous accuracy in treatment delivery, and ensure patient safety through exceptional attention to detail. Assist in developing proton, photon, electron, and other radiation therapy treatment plans Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Prepare treatment rooms and explain procedures to patients Monitor therapy sessions for alignment, treatment accuracy,



and patient condition Conduct staging procedures in dedicated immobilization rooms Adjust to shifting work needs due to single-room proton operations State of Florida Radiation Therapy License ARRT Registration &

Certification (Radiologic Technologist) RTT Certification from an accredited radiation therapy program Have completed an accredited Radiation Therapy educational program Hold the educational requirements needed for ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (Typically includes successful completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program) Required : At least 1 year in Radiation Oncology Exceptional accuracy in patient positioning techniques (critical for proton therapy) Proton therapy experience Medical, Dental &
