You Will

- Ensure a friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff, maximizing quality of service.
- Prepare, cook, and plate food to established quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure that food is received, stored, handled and prepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
- Assist with inventory and menu development as needed.
- Maintain effective communication through the restaurant and with teammates.
- Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management.
- Participate in orientation, team meetings, regular cleaning, and season-end clean and close procedures.
- Ensure other team members are supported in their roles as necessary.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

You Have

- At least 1 year of experience in a food preparation role within a professional dining establishment
- A genuine passion for food and a love of cooking
- The physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, perform manual tasks, and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A valid Food Safe or equivalent food handling certification




- A culinary background, education, or diploma (an asset)
