Our client is looking for a Project Estimator to support a Transmission Program Management team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will help plan and execute multiple high-voltage transmission projects, with responsibilities spanning cost estimating, quantity take-offs, contractor estimate reviews, cost and schedule monitoring, and support for transmission and substation projects. The role is hybrid in Edmonton and is best suited for someone with 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, electric transmission, power utilities, or heavy civil infrastructure.

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline ~5+ years of estimating experience in contruction, electric transmission, power utilities,



or heavy civil infrastructure ~ Valid class 5 divers liscence for field visits within edmonton ~ Ability to complete Construction safety training system (CSTS) within one month of contract execution Proven experience estimating high-voltage transmission and/or substation projects Develop cost estimates for transmission and substation projects Complete quantity take offs and estimate labor, equipment, and materials Identify cost risks, assumptions, escalation, and contingencies Review contractor estimates, tenders, and change orders Support budgeting, AUC filings, and post-project reviews Must Have at least 5 years of experience with/in Cost Analysis
