Empower families with the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Worker role at M’Chigeeng First Nation. This full time position is dedicated to supporting child development for 0-6 year-olds by integrating cultural practices. As a member of the Health Services Department, you will provide vital support to families with young children through home visiting and culturally rooted interventions.

Your role will be essential in promoting healthy lifestyles, effective parenting, and community well-being within the M’Chigeeng First Nation. You will collaborate with health professionals and community programs to meet the diverse needs of families. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate interventions for child development and parenting
- Promote First Nation cultural values in all services




- Coordinate educational and health programs for families
- Build relationships with community agencies for resource sharing
- Support early childhood health initiatives and projects

Requirements:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education preferred
- At least 1 year experience in family support roles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong computer literacy and reporting abilities
- Valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certification
