As part of our growing team, you will coordinate assignments, edit stories, and manage our website, ensuring engaging content for our audience. This position includes relocation assistance for those moving to the vibrant community of Prince George, acclaimed for its outdoor activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate story assignments and schedules with reporters
- Edit news copy and write SEO-friendly headlines
- Write copy and cover events as needed
- Update the website with breaking news
- Curate the daily e-mail newsletter

Requirements:

- Experienced news editor in print or digital
- Passion for local community journalism
- Postsecondary degree in journalism preferred
- Familiarity with Canadian Press style
