Type of position: Regular

Responsibilities

- Design protection and control systems for high-voltage substations across Canada.
- Contribute to site assignments to ensure work quality and system compliance prior to energization.
- Manage projects, coordinate with clients and deliver quality projects with the BBA team.
- Take on various roles, including that of project leader.
- Design protection panels (AC, control, wiring diagrams, etc.).
- Draft installation specifications and prepare material, cable and interconnection lists.
- Participate in site surveys.
- Coordinate tasks with other discipline leads.
- Participate in control start-up activities.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- More than 5 years of experience with Hydro-Québec control and protection projects.
- Knowledge of E3 design software.




- Familiarity with testing equipment and site monitoring.
- Availability for short- and long-term assignments at client sites.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, with the ability to draft technical documents in both languages.
- Asset: Degree from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE).
