Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the REAP, the aircraft electrical assembler is responsible for mounting, assembling, installing, and connecting cables and electronic circuits of an aircraft. Their mission is to perform maintenance on electrical and avionics systems, while ensuring that installations comply with established quality standards.

A. Main Responsibilities:

- Assemble and modify electrical systems and their components;
- Install and connect electrical harnesses, cables, and terminations between main units;
- Mount electrical or electronic components on shelves or peripherals;
- Perform assembly of sub-assemblies, coverings, padded parts, metal brackets, and hardware;
- Install production electrical harnesses and/or avionics systems ensuring their compliance;
- Perform wiring and cabling on panels;
- Manufacture and integrate aircraft interior elements according to requirements and work instructions.

B. Job Requirements:

- Academic Training: Hold a DEC in cable and circuit assembly, a DEC or AEC in avionics, or possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an aircraft electrical assembler and successfully pass the basic technical skills assessment.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience as a harness assembler in a production setting (an asset).

- Meticulousness, precision, good reflexes, high concentration capacity, and attention to detail for assembling high-precision elements;
- Rigor, methodology, autonomy, and flexibility regarding work schedules;
- Developed team spirit and good technical communication skills with various stakeholders.

D. Working Conditions:

- Physical Effort: The position involves repetitive manual tasks and may require working daily in uncomfortable positions (bending, twisting), in confined spaces or at heights.
- Physical Environment: Continuous exposure to factory noise and occasional handling of chemicals. The wearing of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Human Environment: The incumbent must combine autonomy and a sense of teamwork, while showing rigor, punctuality, methodology, and schedule flexibility.
