Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Electrical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for supervising and continuously improving the availability of production equipment for paper machines. As a technical specialist within the electrical maintenance team, you will contribute to troubleshooting, modifications, equipment installations, obsolescence planning & upgrading. Supervising teams responsible for electrical and electrotechnical maintenance, as well as contractors.

Evaluating the skills of the electrical maintenance team. Overseeing tasks performed by subcontractors or external contractors and preparing administrative reports. Following safe work procedures and informing your supervisor of any hazards or risks in the workplace.





Ensuring proper functioning of production equipment, analyzing recurring failures, recommending corrective actions, and supervising their execution. Participating in planning and organizing training activities for electrical and electrotechnical maintenance staff. Monitoring the obsolescence plan and coordinating the transition from outdated components and software to new technologies.

Collaborating with the purchasing department to optimize inventory management and promote standardization of parts. Ensuring electrical schematics of equipment are kept up to date.
