The Electrical Engineer creates designs, writes technical specifications, implements new electrical systems and updates older designs to use modern technology. The position works within an application engineering group that develops continuous boring machines, conveyor solutions and other mining support equipment.

Assist both Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineers in the design of

FAT testing of mining equipment before shipping

Electrical power design both 600V and 4160V systems

Motor control, cable size and protective device settings

Become familiar with ETAP Load flow and short circuit analysis.

Engineering degree

Relative BEV and Mining experience an asset

Additional qualifications that would be considered an asset: Experience in mobile machine electrical and PLC control systems

Experience working Autodesk setting - Vault Manufacturing and AutoCAD Electrical
